The Golden Dragon Kenpo Karate Association is not a new organization but a re-branding of a well-established group. We were originally called the Red Dragon but a change happened in our presdient's life.

 

Although Master Williams is a Christian, he has a considerable knwledge of ancient Asian mysticism. In China, the Red Dragon is a symbol of physical power and martial arts skill while the Golden Dragon represetns enlightenment and spiritual awareness. So it was that Master Williams decided to change the name to better suit his new outlook on life.

 

The co-founder of Golden Dragon Kenpo Karate is Senior Grand Master (SGM) Peter Lee of Thunderbolt Kenpo, a very experienced martail artist who has also experienced enlightenment wthi the warrior arts. SGM Lee came to the realism that the modern warrio must work towards a time when sa fight can be won without fighting.

 

As a security officer in Australia's wild clb scene, SGM Peter Lee has had amany occasions in which he was able to use his supreme confidence in his skill as a martial artist to convince violent people and groups up to 20 youths to simply move on without the need for physical action. This is the ultimate goal of the Golden Dragon stduent, to surpass the physical and embrace the spiritual.

 

The Golden Dragon Kenpo Karate Academy welcomes individual stduents to learn in person or via video; we welcome martial arts schools top become chartered Golden Dragon Academies and we welcome other senior martial aruyists to gain rank recognition from our worldwide association.
